Mesocycle 16. Week 1. Session 4. Conditioning: Distance Run, Outdoor, Paved & Trail 5 Miles, 43:15, 8:39 Pace, 688 Calories, 175' Elevation Gain Comments: Didn't sleep well last night and made the mistake of eating a little bit right before this run. All of that coupled with the pollen made for a pretty miserable time. Still, it was nice to get out there on a 70 degree, sunny Saturday and get it done. I had to stop and walk a few times to keep from puking, and was cramping up pretty bad too, but am still very pleased with that time. I really haulled a$$ on the first three miles and then tried not to puke and die on the last two. Oh well, it's the runs like this that make the good runs seem that much better. May do squats and deads tomorrow. Looking forward to the game tonight. Hope you all have a great weekend!

We went to the beach today. I paddled out into the waist to chest high sets and had an enjoyable time. Got a good workout in too. Stayed out there for about an hour.

Glad you were able to get some waves in. We looked at beach houses all day yesterday for later this summer. Hopefully we'll be able to swing it.
