Mesocycle 16. Week 7. Session 4. Conditioning: Distance Run, Outdoor, Paved 5K, 24:15, 7:49 Pace, 433 Calories, 110' Elevation Gain Comments: Well, this was the "official" end of the cycle. That was the fastest 5K time I've clocked in about a year. Very pleased with that, although I will look back at this time in astonishment in a week or two when it's 95 degrees and I can't get below 27:00 on that same course. The new shoes felt amazing. The joint behind my big toe still feels a little swollen, but I didn't have a lot of pain during that run. I'm going to give it a little more time and see if it goes away before heading to the doctor. My dad had gout and my sister has RA so none of that looks promising for me. We shall see. Going to go get some yardio in now. Happy Mother's Day to everyone. Hope you have a great day!

We went to the beach and didn't get home until 830.
