2017 Regional Event 3 (subbed)

100-ft. Walking Lunge (40 lb Dumbbells)
200 Single Unders
50 Ground to Overheads, 25 lb Plate
50 Pull-ups
50 Ground to Overheads, 25 lb Plate
200 Single Unders
100-ft. Walking Lunge (40 lb Dumbbells)

Comments:
Before: Played in a volleyball tournament for work this afternoon. We warmed up for 30 minutes and I just stood in the back of the court and received almost every serve from the other team. After that we lost our two games (double elimination), but still worked up a little sweat out there in the heat. You could tell the other teams probably work regular schedules and practice all the time. Must be nice... Anyway, it was still an awesome time. We hungout and drank beer for two hours after that and then I left to get home before rush hour. Want to get some "real exercise" in to make up for the latter half of the afternoon so I'm going to get this metcon in. Scaled everything in this one to suit my injuries/ability levels.
After: That was a gasser... I rarely every jump rope anymore so that kills me every time. Subbed everything. Carried two 40 lb dumbbells for walking lunges instead of one 80 lb dumbbell overhead (yeah right). 200 single unders for 100 doubles. 50 G2OHs for 50 wall balls. 50 pull-ups instead of 10 rope climbs. Tough metcon. The last 100' of walking lunges were pure hell. It's still about 90 degrees and humid out here too so that made it worse.
Still may do a run this week, and I still have to figure out what I'm doing for the next cycle. Have a good night!
