Active Rest Day Conditioning: Distance Run, Outdoor, Packed Sand 4 Miles, 33:05, 8:15 Pace, 554 Calories Comments: This is the first time I've gotten out my laptop all week and I'm not upset about that. Decided to go for a run this morning to keep my conditioning up during the rest week. Other than putting up and taking down our "camp" each day, and two surf sessions of roughly an hour each, I haven't done any exercise this week. I ran on the beach from our house down to the southern tip of the island. The wind was at my back on the way down (very hot and sweaty). It was in my face on the way back (cooling and refreshing but sucky at the the same time). It felt good and the flat ground showed as my pace was considerably faster than my usual pace for that distance. Only 54 feet of elevation gain so it was a flat course. Well, back to vacation. 90' deep tissue massage. This lady found so many trigger points. I'm happy.
