Ended up being a rest day here. I had planned on working out, but ended up getting home a little later than usual this evening. As it turns out, my GI doctor came down with the flu. They said they can still fit me in on Wednesday with a different doctor, but I didn't get a chance to call them before they closed today, so I guess I'll find out tomorrow if I'm going to be starting the sh%t storm tomorrow afternoon and still going through with this on Christmas Eve. If I end up rescheduling for after the holidays, I'll definitely plan on working out tomorrow. I'm PISSED I didn't get to today, but it's that time of year where there is just a lot going on. If anything, I may end up doing Squats/Bench on Thursday (Christmas) and just working out 3 days in a row to get all of the strength stuff in. Who knows... Since I do still plan to have that done on Wednesday, that means I can't eat anything else after tonight (liquid diet all day tomorrow and nothing at all after midnight tomorrow night), it may be good to conserve some energy as I'm going to have no gas in the tank (or anything else) for about two days.

Yeah, I feel ya. I didn't get to workout either. Busy, busy. I also know that it is going to be hard to get to the gym the next two weeks (I'm a teacher and so is the wife and we're home with the kids the next two weeks) so I think I'm gonna spend two weeks "deloading" and doing MetCons and lightweight BB complexes, yoga and cardio. When I go back to school, I'll reset my Madcow spreadsheet with my latest maxes. Hope everything works out with the GI doc. My wife went through all that two years ago and I don't envy you.

Looks like we're in the same boat. I'm off until the 5'th of January and will likely have to go down to SC at some point when my sister gives birth. She's due on Christmas day. I thought about just bringing my door pull-up bar, Oly bar and a pair of each of the plates that I own. If anything, I could do some Oly lifting at their house. Sounds like it's time to get creative.
