Bench Work up to a 5 Rep Max for the day: 20x45, 5x135, 165, 185, 195, 205
Time: 9:25
Assistance 4 Rounds: 10 Deficit Push-ups 10 Dumbbell Curls, 40 lb Dumbbells 5x4 Count Flutter Kicks
Time: 7:10
Conditioning: Metcon
"Ryan" 5 Rounds for Time of: 7 Chest to Bar Pull-ups 7 Ring Dips 21 Burpees *Each burpee terminates with a jump 1 foot above max standing reach.
Time: 17:28
Comments: We just got a call notifying us that my wife's Aunt may have terminal cancer. We are very close with her too, so I feel like I just got punched in the gut before this one. Going for it anyway though. Bench: Didn't feel overly strong for these but got them done. Decent sets. Good pauses up to 205. Assistance: Used the same dumbbells for deficit push-ups and curls. Curls were broken into 7 & 3. Good sets. Metcon: That one was tough. The pull-ups and dips were a sub for muscle ups. Definitely got me sweating out here in the garage. Well, that's it for me tonight. I have a run left to do this week and that's it. Hope you all have a good night!

I know after my granny died it was good therapy for me. Sorry to hear about your aunt.

Good job on whatever it was that you did! Ha...it was hang power snatch. Wow, very good job on that exercise at that weight! Thanks on mine. May have over done it on the metcon. Was on the couch until 3:00AM having trouble breathing. Sort've like asthma I guess. Maybe I've just been slacking on the metcons lately and picked the wrong day to push it to previous levels.
