Mesocycle 15. Week 1. Session 4 (Conditioning).
Conditioning: Metcon "Filthy Fifty" For time: 50 Box Jumps, 24" Box 50 Jumping Pull-ups 50 KB Swings 50 Walking Lunge Steps 50 Knees to Elbows 50 Push Press, 45 lb. 50 Back Extensions 50 Thrusters, 10 lb Dumbbells (Sub for 20 lb Wall Balls) 50 Burpees 150 Single Unders (Sub for 50 Double Unders)
Time: 28:33
Comments: I've trained five out of the last six days. That is pretty excessive in my opinion, especially on limited rest. But, I want to get this in. It's been a stressful week too so I would like to blow off some steam. This is a "make-up" metcon from Monday. It is a crossfit classic and looks pretty freaking tough. I'd like to finish in less than 30 minutes. Let's see how it goes... Metcon: Whoa... The box jumps right out of the gate definitely sucked. Knees to Elbows and Back Extensions did too. Dumbbell Thrusters with 10 lb dumbbells probably wasn't the best sub for wall balls. 20 lb dumbbells probably would've been better but I don't have 20's. I don't like subbing barbell thrusters because for some reason it forces my knees forward and that ends up hurting them a lot. The burpees were the icing on the vomit covered cake. I subbed 150 single unders instead of 100 for double unders because I felt like even 100 wouldn't have been enough for how bad it would suck to do 50 double unders at the end of all of that. Pleased with that time. Especially given the stress this week. Bench and a run still left to do. Have a good night!

Yeah, 50 box jumps would be a terrible way to start. Good job.

Thanks, I was trying to increase the weight by 5# on each set of two, but when I got to 140# I knew that I was done.
