I don't know if it's the humid weather or last week's workouts, but my knees were hurting like all get out today. Not so much during the workout, but before and after. I wonder if it is the Front Squats for the past few weeks....
In a related story, my shoulders are hurting like crap, but I'm pretty sure that is from all of the weighted Pull-ups in this cycle.

Fish oil. I take 2400 mg and 100mg of aspirin in the mornings and 1200mg at bed time. Dan John wrote an article about it and it is a natural antiinflammatory. Speaking of soreness, my legs are toast tonight. My wife asked me if I worked out today (she cares nothing for weight lifting) and I said,"Yes." If I told her I squatted 300# three times I don't think she would believe me.

I'll have to try that stuff. I've heard good things about it.

Short article here.
Sorry about the lack of sleep...babies do that. My best friend in those days was a good rocking chair and gas drops.

Cool article. I might try to get some of that stuff today if I make it by the store.
I'm a light sleeper and if I don't get to sleep by about midnight, I can pretty much plan on laying there awake for another 1-3 hours. A curse I suppose, but if anyone ever breaks into the house in the middle of the night, they sure aren't going to expect a wide awake, pissed off, well-armed lunatic to deal with.

Melatonin helped me to get back into my circadian rhythms. About 5mg 30mins before you WANT to go to sleep.

Melatonin helped me to get back into my circadian rhythms. About 5mg 30mins before you WANT to go to sleep. I might start taking that again too. I tried it a few years ago for a little while and it gave me nightmares. I was dreaming that I was being attacked, etc. Scared the crap out of my wife... A coworker of mine takes those when he gets on a plane and he crashes out. I wouldn't do that. My luck, the flight would get canceled and then I'd be dead to the world trying to re-book.

Took about 2600 MG of Fish Oil tonight. Man, that stuff has an after taste that makes you want to kill yourself. I hope it helps with the sore knees.

Hmmm, what brand? I don't get an aftertaste. Give it two weeks, it's a lifesaver for me.

Sundown Naturals. They're gel caps that evidently don't break until they reach your small intestine. Who knows...
