Comments: Guy talked me into trying to Max Out on these today. I used a "Westside" progression to work my way up to 1RMs. Felt pretty strong on both lifts. Feel like I could've kept going on Squats but stopped there. Those Deadlifts were no frickin' joke. Happy with some new lifetime PRs! Uphill 100's: Felt good on these too. Walked a half mile each way to the hill and measured off 100 meters on my phone for the initial walk to the bottom. Last time I did 100's it killed my legs so we'll see if I fall out of bed in the morning. Thought about doing a few more, but stopped there to keep from really wearring myself out for the week. Hope you've had a great day!

Squats 5@155# 4@195 3@235 2@275 1@305 1@335 1@360(PR) Bench Press 5@115 4@135 3@155 2@175 1@195 1@215 1@240(PR, all three boys were "spotting" me) DL 5@215 4@235 3@270 2@290 1@310 1@325 1@360 Felt very good on all the lifts. A little twinge of pain in my arm with the plate in it on BP. Squats have become habitual, I just load it up and squat. I had no thought of failure trying to set a new PR, because I'm always pushing heavy weights and trying to do more, I just did it. I can't explain it. The DL may or may not be a PR. I'm going to have to consult my journals to see. I do know that with this 5432111 I set goal weights and take my %'s from the goal rather than my actual 1RM. My goal WAS 350 for DL, so i guess i have to set a new goal of 400#. My bench goal is 250 and squat 400. Awesome job on the workout today. I'm happy you set those PR's.

Daggone! A day at the beach and then you come home and hit some PRs! I'll take that! Nice work!
Interesting formula. Trying to hit 300 on squats and 430 on DL here. Will try those in a month but going to try and keep grinding it out until my next "heavy week." Thanks on the PRs anf congrats on yours as well. Glad you had a spotter. Ha ha.
