I guess it's about time to get back in the saddle. I have to wash the cars today. I may workout this afternoon. If not today, then definitely tomorrow. Hope you all have a great day.

Well, I worked hard for 5 hours on the cars, garage and yard, but still, I've taken 7 full days and
nights off, so it's time to get back in the saddle. Just went through the motions on this deload
workout. The lifts felt great. My body felt very fresh. It was a good call to take that time off.
All Squats were regular. I just tried to go A2G as much as possible. All Deadlifts were double
overhand grip to make it harder. I'm finding out as the weather warms up that the powder I'm
using for grip just turns to slime when it mixes with sweat and it does more harm than good.
That should make heavy deadlifts interesting this summer… Will likely do Upper Body Assistance

Glad you are back. My chalk does the same, but I have a large towel and wipe my hands, arms, head, neck and the bar if needed. I know you have a chalk sock thingee, but I have a block of it and actually rub the block on the knurling and my hands. I use a buttload too. La towellete es muy importante. That's the only way it works for me.

I also did a bunch of chores today. The wife was sick with a fever so I had kids and work. We went to Home Depot and bought 5gallons of opaque concrete stain and got it on sale for $30! I then stained the patio, sidewalks and the area around the pool. I also washed and scrubbed the safety fence around the pool as it had green algae on it. Ate dinner and then did this:
Skwatts: 250#x30
DB pull over: 65#x30
Speed Sumo DL: 135#x30
All sets unbroken. The squats SUCKED at #17 and up. I would take two deep breaths, hold it and bust out two fast ones. Two breaths/hold/2 reps & repeat. Pull overs were fine, hell anything would have been fine after those squats. Sumo's were GTG. They were fast as well.

I then had to go to wal-mart and get pull ups for #3 before bedtime. Glad you had a good and productive day as well.

Nice work! Sounds like a busy day for all. Sorry to hear about your wife's fever. I hope she is feeling better soon.
