That's funny, I am sitting at the oil change after going to "Ronny's" car wash. I'll be doing OHP and stuff later. Had a date night last night and the boys are at daycare while the wife studies for a teacher exam and I "piddle" around the house.

It sounds like you're more of a fan of not wasting the time washing cars. To me there is something therapeutic about it, and I guess I am saving us some money by spending 5 hours washing and waxing both cars. I guess it comes down to opportunity cost. If I could somehow use that time to do something that would cause us to profit more than I would spend at the car wash then I could justify it. OK, my brain hurts. Hope the workout goes well!

This was a good day to be indoors. It has been cloudy, rainy and more or less miserable outside. I was hoping to find a pocket to at least wash one of the cars, but every time I peeked out the window it was raining. So, I cleaned the den and dining room from top to bottom instead. Then I got some stretching in.
Tricep Stretch-Side Bends: 10 Each Direction Overhead Doorway Stretch, 30 Seconds Front Rack Stretch, 30 Seconds Shoulder Dislocates: 10 Reps Over & Back: 10 Reps Lying Quad Stretches: 30 Seconds Each Leg Hamstring Stretches: 30 Seconds Each Leg Groin Stretch: 30 Seconds Quad Stretches: 30 Seconds Each Leg Bent Hamstring Stretch: 30 Seconds Spiderman Hold: 30 Seconds Each Leg

Sorry man, Guess I posted my last post right when you posted this because I didn't see it until a few minutes ago. Nice job on the workout! I like the AMAP on the last set. And 16 reps is solid as heck at 110 lbs. Glad to see that you're able to do dips again. I thought those were hurting you for a while. Yeah, I'm trying to prepare myself for the heat that you guys have now. I know its only a short time before it makes its way up here. Nice work!

The wash only cost $5 and they have free vacuums, cleaners, floor mat rollers, "Armour All" and paper towels which make it easy. At the end of the summer I'll do it all myself here at the house and make the boys help me. When I was done with the van, I came home and did the same to my mid-size SUV. I then did my workout, went and got the kids, helped my dad hang a storm door, bought $100 worth of landscaping plants, planted them, vacuumed the pool and swam with the kids. Oh, and I also fed the kids, us adults and put them to bed. See what you have to look forward to.

You are getting the weather we have had the last 3 days. It will pass and be nice.

You must have misread, I only got 10, but my TT was 16'. As for dips, yeah they have hurt me, but I think the Bulgarian method really helped me to move past a lot of stuff. I'm going to have to get another BB though, mine is bent due to my heavy squats and my 405# partials. When i bench or OHP I have to make sure the bar is just right or it will roll on me. I can really feel this Juggernaut method. The high reps for volume sucks, but I can tell its doing me some good. The conditioning combined with the heat is leaning me out too. I have to say though, I am looking forward to weeks 4,5&6 as they are "5's." Doing a bunch of tens is brutal. I'm averaging 50+ reps per exercise.

Yeah, sounds like you're in the thick of it right now on that program. 50 reps is a ton of volume for a heavy day. I'm doing less than half of that if you don't count warm-up sets. I don't even break 50 on assistance days most of the time. Those 5's are going to feel good!

And that sucks about the barbell. I have no idea what mine is rated at. Luckily I've only crested 400 on two or three occasions. I may need to start looking for another one (that I can't afford right now). It's funny, I used to think, "ha ha, like I'll ever have to worry about actually BENDING this barbell. I'll never be able to lift that much."
