Well, we are settled in the family vacation home on the Tennessee River in the TAG (Tenn/Ala/Ga) area. We had a great couple of days at Stone Mountain State Park and the boys had a great time with their cousins.
SMSP is a cool place if you care to visit.
I have my jump rope and 25# MB with me and a folder full of metcons. I am going to commit to losing about 10# in the short term and hopefully 20# by December. I am also committing to easing back into running at least 3-4 days a week. I will be using a training program that got me ready to run a marathon in 16 weeks.
Today I did this: 15' run/5' walk/10' run/5' walk ~3.25 miles. When running the pace was 8'30"/mile. I'll do this EOD for the two weeks we are on vacation. I will also Be doing 20'-30' metcons.

Thanks. It was a long day, but a good one. I have a lot to learn, that's for sure.
Glad to hear that the vacation is going well. It must be great up in the mountains right now. Sounds good on the conditioning and running. Good time on that interval run too. Don't go getting too skinny and lose your beastliness. Laughing

Had walked about 3 miles today, when a woman chased me down and asked if I had lost a toy. I walk pretty fast according to her; she had been tailing me for a while. My daughter has a dangling frog thing that attaches to one of the rails of the stroller. She's gotten good at pulling it off, and apparently now throwing it. The toy was about a mile back. Guess I can thank my daughter for 4 miles today Laughing
