Good morning all. I went through and posted what I did on the days that were "lost" from Garage Warriors. If you would like to do the same, feel free. If you don't have a record of it, then I really apologize for losing it. That site had some serious issues. This one is much better. Again, welcome back. If you are a guest, feel free to join us. Rest for me too. We go back to work tomorrow, so vacation is over! I look forward to it as I will be on a regular schedule.

Sorry to hear that your vacation is over but it sounds like you made the most of it. I'm sure that you'll enjoy being on a normal schedule again. Hope you guys enjoy the rest day. This morning I was looking at blog sites. I may start a blog and write primarily about fitness. Maybe that would bring some traffic to the site.

Took my daughter swimming today for the first time. She loved it and this day will always be a fond memory in my mind.
Originally, I was going to take a deload week this week, then start a new cycle next week. After looking back, I've only lifted heavy for three weeks since my last deload week (vacation), so I'm going to lift one more week on this cycle, then take a deload week next week. After that, I'll start my 7'th mesocycle. I want my cycles to be a minimum of 5 weeks long (including the deload week). 6 Would probably be the best, but I'll start at 5 for now. As I mentioned on Garage Warrior, I want to add a set to my assistance lifts on the next cycle and I want to mix it up a little bit with some different exercises. I'm really looking forward to that variety. So one more week of this, and then it's a deload week next week. Hope you all have a good night.

Glad you got a chance to make some memories. Teaching her how to swim early is best, it eases the worry when she's around water.
Yeah, I had read that Wendler recommended doing six week cycles. Having a variety of exercises is good to keep from getting bored. As for deloading, I'm not a fan. If I need a break, I'll take it.
The Juggernaut method calls for four, four week phases, but I am skipping the deload weeks so the whole cycle would be 12 instead of 16.
I subscribe to Breaking Muscle's updates and today they released an app. Pretty neat as it allows you to pick your exercises and then plug in your maxes. Using your BMI, you are then categorized and you can compare yourself to peers. Very private app as well that requires no permissions on your phone. All they get is your exercise info, age, height and weight.

I was a pool rat growing up, swam competitively for a little while and just plain love the water, whether it be a pool or the ocean. I'm hoping to instill that into her as well. In my old program, I would do three weeks on, one week deload and I needed it pretty badly. That was probably due to the intensity of the program and my travel schedule. Since I've dialed it back and have been at home most nights, I think I can go for longer now. I could probably do 6 weeks, but to be honest, I want to change things up more often than that. Cool sounding app. I can't stand typing things into my phone, that is what would keep me from using it. That's why I drag the laptop out there.
