Comments: Well, that was fun (sarcasm). My backpack weighed about 15 lbs before I put weight in it. I then put a 35 lb plate and 2 liters of water in it. The biggest challenge about that was not the cardio aspect. It was dealing with the pain of having 50 lbs strapped to your back for an extended amount of time. I truly believe that I could've done that at a 15 minute mile pace if I hadn't gone on the rugged trail. That slowed me down a little. Still, I'm not terribly upset with that pace though. Met my wife and daughter at the park that I walked to. She was expecting a leisurely stroll and was disappointed to find me sweating it out, hating life and just trying to get through it. Ha ha. Oh well, I assured her that once I was done I would chill out for the rest of the day. And now it's time to do just that. Hope you all have a good day.
