Comments: Rediculously long day at work. Drove an hour and a half each way to Virginia and worked
on the roof all day. It wasn't that hot, but still, that sun gets to you after a while. Also, I hauled our
gear all over the roof and hauled a 35-45 lb backpack up and down the 3 story ladder a few times.
So I cut my Assistance work in half tonight.
Squats: Actually felt pretty good on these. Hurt my lower back on the second heavy set. Not sure
what it was. You can definitely see the difference in the rep quality and depth. Did one more single
after that at 285 lbs (95%) and that was it. I unracked 305 lbs but just standing their with that weight
hurt my back so I reracked it and threw in the towel. As I mentioned, I cut the assistance sets in half.
Interval Run: Definitely wasn't expecting a PR on 800 Meters, but will certainly take it. I've been doing
1600 meter runs in the middle of that so I guess an 800 was easy. Good stuff.
Tomorrow is OH Press and a metcon (God willing). Have a good night.
I hurt my lower back on the second rep and my depth shows it. Probably should've hung it up right then, but as usual, I pushed it for another set.
Depth may have been OK on this one, but it was pretty close. Again, it sucks to have your legs feeling so good and you tweak your frickin back. Oh well.
