Comments: Despite our best efforts, we were not able to stay up long enough to see the ball drop for the
fifth year in a row. Plus Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy had us almost depressed by the end of the
night. It is asking a lot to have people sit through the perfect illustration of the degradation of our society
for hours on end before finally watching a lit up ball drop at midnight. Oh well, still tired for this one.
Doubling up today too and doing both DLs and Bench. Here we go!!!
Bench: Felt strong on these. Happy with that PR. While I know I've "gotten more than 8 reps" at 185,
I doubt I've gotten 8 reps at 185 with a pause. Good set.
Deadlift: Had a pain in my left hamstring and in my upper back. Just glad to get out of those sets with a PR.
Assistance: Ha ha…. Yes….. That sucked…. No metcon required as I almost puked during the assistance.
Conditioning: Why not? Let's see if I can kill myself on New Year's Day. Felt pretty good for this run.
Was only going to do 5 miles, but kept going. I figured, what the heck, let's over do it. OK, time to colapse
on the floor. Happy New Year!
