Good morning. Was feeling motivated this morning and went out to the 25 degree garage and did OHP.
Overhead Press 10x45, 5x95, 6x110, 6x120, 6x130 (PR 6RM)
Assistance: 4 Rounds: 8 Overhead Press, 85 lbs 10 Good Mornings, 85 lbs
Time: 17:45
Comments: Felt like Rocky Balboa this morning out in the cold, dark garage. OH Press: Happy with a PR there. Didn't feel overly strong, but still had some solid sets. I swear doing Good Mornings kills my back now. I have no idea why it started doing that, but I may need to look into building a Roman Chair so I can do some back extensions instead. Hoping to do a metcon later, but may do Deadlifts instead since I'm supposed to go out of town tomorrow. Hope you have a good day!

It shows that hard work and tenacity pay off. Excellent. I have a 2 mile run and Madcow today. I'll post results later.

Thanks! I really think switching the program up has helped force an adaptation.

2 miles TT=17'01" Madcow Squats: ramped up to 270*5 Rows: ramped up to 120*5 Bench: ramped up to 225*5 TT=20'17" Felt very good today. Was in a hurry and will be increasing my running volume per week. Hope you had a great day.

Assistance: 4 Rounds: 8 Deadlifts, 210 lbs 10 Knees to Elbows
Time: 18:31
Comments: Decided to go ahead and do DLs tonight because I know I'm not going to want to do them later this week. Later start time at 7:00PM on these. 28 degrees as well. Holy cold feet Bat Man! Deadlifts: Happy with a PR there. Felt pretty strong aside from the usual aches and pains. Man it feels good to have DLs done and it's only Tuesday! I'll take it! Will try to get a metcon or run in on the road. If not, no big deal, I'll do one of each when I get back. Have a good night!
