Conditioning: Interval Run 800 Meters Slow: 4:15 1600 Meters Fast: 6:50 800 Meters Medium: 3:50
Comments: Legs are still pretty worn out from that 5K yesterday. Normally I wouldn't do squats the day after a run, but it is 60 degrees today and the highs for the rest of the week are going to be in the 40's (lows in the 20's). So I wanted to go ahead and get this workout and run in today. Squats: Again, wasn't feeling overly strong on these. Just glad to get out of there with a PR. I had originally wanted to do a few heavy singles after the sets of 4, but it wasn't in the cards today. Assistance: Again, wasn't expecting much on Chins and assistance as I just did them yesterday. Oh well, the world doesn't stop, just because I slack off on my training. Interval Run: Extremely pleased with that 1600 time. My legs felt like $h!t too. Good stuff… OK, going to watch the ice bowl (Sea Hawks at Vikings). Hope you have a good day!
