Well, it was indeed a day off here. After lunch, I dug my old childhood sled ( similar to this) out of the attic and we bundled up and joined the rest of the neighborhood out on the hill(street) in front of our house. We each took turns a few times and even took our daughter down a few slow runs. Then I did about ten runs myself. The hill is maybe 300-400 meters and I would start at the top, run and jump, head first onto the sled and then push with my hands to gain momentum until I really got going. Then I'd ride it all the way down and do a sharp turn at the bottom to keep from eating it into the grass/bushes across the street. Man, it was awesome! I definitely broke 20 mph on a few of those runs. I was blowing buy the neighborhood kids. Great times... To be honest, I was drenched in sweat by the end of it. That's the only way to do it... About to throw some steaks on the grill. Hope you guys have a good night.
