Very interesting. For some reason, today is the first day in years that my knees didn't feel like garbage following a Medium-Long distance run. I'm not sure if it was the fact that I was pushing myself more than usual yesterday and it changed something in my form that happened to use more muscle and not let my joints absorb a majority of the blows or what, but this is unbelievable. Or maybe it also has to do with the new Knee Sleeves that I've worn on Squats and other leg work. I don't know, but I'm pumped.

That's awesome! I used to have knee pain ALL the time when I ran a lot. I say a lot but I would put 20-30 miles into four training days in a week. I tried everything to no avail. A buddy gave me the book "Born to Run" and after that I switched to minimalist running and I haven't had any leg pain anywhere at all. It's not for everyone, but it works for me. I used the 5 fingers for a while but switched to NB Minimus 0° and won't go back. I do get back pain, but that is from lack of training. Now that you mention it, when I went all out last night for the challenge, I felt great then and just a little sore today at wake up.
