Good morning. Rest day for me. I'm trying to figure out how to do this week as far as maxing goes. I'm almost pretending like I'm preparing for both a powerlifting meet and a marathon. I'm thinking something like this:
Monday: Bench, Deadlift Max Tuesday: Rest Wednesday: Squat, Pull-up Max Thursday: Rest Friday: Rest Saturday: 15K or Half Marathon
Since the objective is to max out, I would probably not do any assistance work or metcons. Perhaps some light conditioning early in the week, but from what I understand, you want to be super fresh for the run on Saturday. If things get hectic early in the week, I may just max on all lifts (powerlifting meet style) on Wednesday. We'll see how things go. Hope you have a good day!
