Comments: I'm definitely tired today and have reservations about going heavy. For starters, my lower back has only been feeling 100% for probably two weeks or so. It took a month and a half to get better. Also, my legs are still pretty sore from that run on Saturday and it is really awkward to unrack the barbell on bench. Still, I will give it a shot.
Bench: Wasn't even feeling that strong for those, but am happy with a new lifetime PR. It's funny, right after the 250 set my wife and daughter came storming in going nuts. I talked to her and tried to calm everyone down a little and then went back out to try for 255. I guess that 10 minute break may have cost me some momentum. Oh well.
Squat: Felt pretty good on these. Both PR's had too much back recovery, but the depth was good so they counted.
Deadlift: Well, that sucked. It isn't surprising though as I haven't gone heavy on those in over two months. I was surprised not to get 405 though. Oh well.
DH Pull-ups: Just sort've decided to do this. Not sure if that is an actual PR, but I had 10 written down so I'll take it.
Disappointed with DLs, but you reap what you sow I guess. And I have sowed a bunch of light DLs lately. No video because I didn't even start videoing until 405. Oh well. Happy with gains everywhere else.
I may do a metcon on Wednesday and then a long run on Saturday. Hope you have a good night.
