Good morning. Trying to get geared up for my big run. I've been laying in bed awake since 4:00AM trying to figure out what to do about water and maybe a power bar or something. I'm thinking about parking and leaving a bottle of water right next to the trail that I'm going to run. Then I would run about 5 miles and turn around and head back. Once I got to where I parked I could take a quick water break and then do a few more miles. That is the plan at least. It's a good thing I'm not a superbowl quarter back. I don't think I've ever slept the night before a big day. Hope you have a good day.

Conditioning: Distance Run, Outdoor, Packed Gravel/Dirt 13.1 Miles, 2:03:00, 9:22 Pace, 1800 Calories
Comments: Good Lord did that suck. Only about 6 hours of sleep last night so I was not on my A-game for this. Still, I did pretty well for about 8 miles and then my legs just started giving out. I had to stop and walk a handful of times during the last few miles. I was kind've pissed because I was never that winded during the entire workout. My legs were just smoked and couldn't keep up. Oh well. Still a decent time for a first attempt and to be honest it just feels nice to have completed it. Once I finished I limped back up the hill, across the parking lot and literally collapsed into the car. There was no way I could squat down. Good times. OK, time to help my wife clean the house and then fire up the grill later. Hope you have a great day!

WU: 150 single unders, 40 jumping jacks, 30 sit ups, 20 squats,10 pull ups,5 push ups TT~4' Strength: EMOM of: HPC 115*6 125*4 135*2 145*2 155*1 TT=5'24" Conditioning: "300" TT=17'23" Really not feeling it today. Missed about 10 hours of sleep this week and have been up since 3am. Had two soccer games, one party and mopped the whole house. The metcon is a good one. My biggest time sucker was the K2E. My grip and lats were gone. Hope you have a good rest of the day.

I feel you on the missing sleep. I'm right there with you, if not worse off. Still, heck of a job. Thanks on my stuff. It's funny, two years ago, when I ran 3-4 times per week I couldn't run well at all. My legs always felt tired. Heck, it was a big deal for me if I ran 3 miles back then. I never would've dreamed of running a half marathon, that's for sure. I don't know how people run that much. Alright, almost time to fire up the grill. Have a good rest of the day!
