Good morning. Hoping to get a metcon in later. Hope you all have a good day! On this day in... 1962, Marilyn Monroe sang "Happy Birthday" to president John F. Kennedy. Also on this day, in 1992, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis died in New York. Comments: Having Marilyn Monroe sing "Happy Birthday" to JFK (and who knows what else) would be the equivalent of having Kim Kardashian sing "Happy Birthday" to Obama (and who knows what else). That's the way I see it at least. I'm sure Marilyn Monroe had more class than Kim K., but only because it was a classier time in society. It is ironic that Jacqueline passed on the same calendar day. I was almost done scrolling down after seeing "Happy Birthday" and then noticed that about Jacqueline a few lines further down. That's some crappy irony...

If you fall, miss the plate, etc. , it is a no rep. Not too bad. Hot...

Pull-ups (Pyramid) Start by doing one pull-up and then add a repetition after resting 10 seconds. Continue as long as you are able. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, +4 (25 Total, PR over 18 from last week)
Then rest 10 seconds and complete one set for Max Reps: 4
Extra Credit: Wait 60 seconds and complete one set for Max Reps: 7
Conditioning: Metcon (Skipped)
Comments: Did this with my doorway pull-up bar in the hotel room. Very surprised with how well this went. Skipped the metcon after working out hard for two hours the last two nights. Needed a break. Might try to do my long pull-up workout tomorrow evening. If not then, it will be Saturday morning before my run. Hope you all have a good night!
