Conditioning: Distance Run, Outdoor, Paved & Trail 5 Miles, 46:45, 9:18 Pace, 690 Calories
Comments: Wanted to get this in earlier, but had to start painting some of the siding boards that we had replaced. Heat Index was 98 degrees for this. I was OK for about 3 miles. The last two were horrible. Then at the end my neighbor stopped and wanted to talk. I know I wasn't making any sense at all and he was looking at me probably wondering if I was going to die. The truth is, I was wondering the same thing. Ha ha... OK, just a little painting left to do today. Hope you all have a good one!

We stayed out too late and I drank ONE whiskey drink which I should not have done and was feeling it today. Watched some of the CF games today and some major league soccer. Heading over to the in laws to grill and chill.

I haven't had a liquor drink in probably 10 years. If you can't tell, I'm a little off my rocker already and liquor only exasperates that exponentially. So I just steer clear of it nowadays. And man, I can't imagine the way I'd feel the next day if I had a whiskey drink now. Thanks on mine. Yeah, it was horrible. After that I ended up painting for a while and then up on the roof cutting tree branches that were getting close to the house. So it was a double dose of heat exhaustion for me today. Doing a few twelve ounce curls now. Hope you all have fun at the in-laws!

The original as prescribed version at the CrossFit games today was 10 rounds for time of those three movements with 155 pounds. I only had one whiskey drink. One small little Tumblr. I should have stuck to beer. I'm okay now, that workout got most of the achy feelings out of me. Just finished grilling a whole lot of meat with my brother-in-law and we're going to sit down and eat. I've been tuning into the CrossFit games every once in awhile. They are way more diverse than in the past.

Ahh... didn't know it was a CF games metcon. I might attempt that at 135, but it would take forever and a day. 95 would be way more manageable. Great job! The meat sounds fantastic too. Watching the CF games on youtube?

Watching the CF games on youtube? I scaled it to 95 and 4 rounds because I didn't have a lot of time. I could handle 135 and probably even 155 except for the push jerks. I watched them on YouTube and espn2. They were very interesting and the WOD's/challenges were very interesting. Some of those people are beasts!

Ahh, I see. Shoot, glad you can handle 155 on that one! Yeah, I caught a few minutes of the games last night. They were doing ring HSPUs. I can say that that is one movement you will likely never see me doing. Or if I try, I will probably end up in the hospital shortly after.
