Conditioning: Metcon
5 Rounds for Time: 20 Back Extensions 20 Overhead Press, 40 lb Dumbbells 40 Walking Lunges
Time: 19:25
Comments: The bicep pain persists... Had to scroll all the way back to March to find a metcon that looked like it didn't involve any type of pulling motion and also worked with the equipment I have. This is subbed and scaled of course, but the movements are similar. Now my knee is hurting too. I'll see how it feels during the first round or two and may just stop. Metcon: Not the most huffing and puffing metcon I've ever done, but definitely challenging. The back extensions actually got easier throughout the metcon and the last set (80-100) was unbroken. The Overhead Presses were generally broken up as 10-6-4. The lunges were all unbroken with only a slight pause to turn around at one end of the house and head back to the other. Good metcon overall. I have to go out of town tomorrow night for work, so training will be up in the air. My bicep is feeling a little better today. I have bench and pull-ups coming up. I'll play it by ear and may just take tomorrow off. Hope you all have a good night!

Lunges can sometimes rub the patellar tendon and cause it to flare up. Glad you were able to get one in.

WU: 4RFT: 3 dips, 6 Pull-ups, 9 GHDSU'S TT=4'17" Strength: EMOM for 10' OHPx2 loads-115,125,135,145,155,160,165,170,175,180x1,175x1 Conditioning: AMRAP in 20' of: 400m run, 15 HSPU (piked) and 10 burpees TR=4+400m run Notes: very happy with the OHP. Definitely a PR. Couldn't quite get a second rep so backed off and got the 175 again. The conditioning was terrible. I was gassed.

I couldn't get 135 for one rep the other day... I guess something is paying for you there. Nice job! The conditioning looks rough. Any time running and burpees are combined you're in for a rough time. Great job getting it done!

Thanks. I really think it has a lot to do with all of my handstandsand practice as well as the OLY lifts.
