5 Rounds for time: 115 lb Clean & Jerks, 10 Reps 15 Pull-ups
Time: 15:38
Comments: Wanted to get some conditioning in this week. No heavy lifting though. 92 degrees in here (heat index over 100) for this one. I got this metcon from crossfit main site and scaled the C&J's down from 155 (yeah right). Also, I subbed 15 pull-ups in for 1 legless rope climb, which some would say is a pretty liberal substitution. I'll probably do two more conditioning sessions this week and then start lifting again next week with either a deload week or possibly just get right into the first week of the next cycle. I guess my bicep and shoulder are feeling better if they didn't hurt after this metcon. The Clean & Jerks were more like Ground to Overheads. Most everything was broken into sets of 5. Glad to have this one in the books. Have a good night!

Thanks. I have to admit that I am very happy with it. If I could dump the weights I could go heavier. I've never done BTNPJ before but they weren't as bad as I thought they would be. I've never put more than 180# over my head EVER! So, it felt good. But, then again I watched the women's heavyweight division weightlifting finals at the Olympics and those girls were C&J 180kg!!! Crazy.

Last week it was all clouds and rain. This week it's sun and humidity. After I finish my training, I go jump in the pool and just sit. The water is nice and cool from all the rain we've had.

Thanks man. I think next Wednesday or something it is supposed to be a high of 85 and a low in the 60's. Can't wait for Fall! Really, it would be nice to be able to go out into the garage and screw two pieces of wood together without being drenched in sweat.
