Comments: First day of the rest of my cycle. Lol. I woke up this morning and my lower back was hurting so bad that I could barely put my pants on. Maybe it was the 3 hours of yard work yesterday afternoon. I decided to do a squat variation that should be fairly easy on the back. Time for death by walking lunges and pull-ups... Strength: The lunges were rough. Started off outside and after one set I was surrounded by mosquitos so I opted to move inside and just do lunges in place, which sucks. Oh well... Weighted pull-ups felt good. I split up the burnout sets into 2 sets of 20 and did them on either side of the main lifts. Assistance: This was tough. My legs are smoked. The dragonflies were the icing on the cake at the end of each set. Those are always fun... Interval Run: Challenging. Decent times though, and consistent. OK, Panthers are on in 30 minutes.
