Conditioning: Metcon
For time: 200 single unders 25 toes-to-bars 25 deadlifts, 225 lbs 50 box jump overs, 24" box
Men use 225 lb. for deadlifts and a 24-in. box. Women use 155 lb. for deadlifts and a 20-in. box.
Time: 12:35
Comments: Decided to give this one a go. Everything was as written except the 200 single unders should have been 100 double unders. Good metcon. Definitly got the blood flowing. Earlier, I washed the car too so I got some other manual labor today. Other than that I was riding the desk all day. It's been a pretty welcomed break to be in the office for two days. Well, I have one more car to wash and one run to do by the end of the week. Hope you have a great night!

WU: 12345 ladder of front squats @95,115,125,135,145 and pull ups TT=5'03" Strength: front squats 5x5@145,165,185,205,225 TT~6' Conditioning: 3RFT of: 20 KBS@53#, 15 goblet squats@53#, 400m run TT=11'03" Notes: WU is fairly standard now and I am doing it so that my last set is my first set of strength. The front squats were tough, especially that last set of 5@225#! Had good form though as I have realized that front squats + poor form=back ache. Conditioning was terrible. The goblet squats were painful. I wanted to quit but meh...pushed through. My first round took me almost 5' to do with rounds 2&3 clocking in at ~3' and change. Took a shower, ate and left for soccer practice. We have our first games Saturday morning. My U10 boys team are really fast. I'm teaching them how to play the "high press" attacking style to use our speed to our advantage. We'll see...#1 made me so proud tonight as I watched him just dribble and juke his way down the field and score during scrimmage. At one point he had three guys on him and he beat them to pass to center for his teammate to score.

Both are awesome! Solid sets on Front Squat and yes, that conditioning looks rough. 3 minute rounds would be a dream on that. Great job to each of you! That has to be so exciting to actually train a team and use their strengths to direct them on what to do and then see results. Hopefully I'll get to do that one day. Thanks on the metcon. It was a gasser. Things moved along pretty quickly though. That first set of DLs was terrible. I got like 5. Then I got more on every set after that. The box jump overs weren't that bad, but I was probably doing them wrong. I jumped up onto the box and then (to save my knees) kind've stepped off the other side. Turned around, repeated. Oh well, I still jumped onto the box and then went off the other side.
