WU/Strength: 34445 of squats and pull ups 135,185,205,255,315* TT=8'44" Conditioning: 60 squats, 15 TTB, 40 squats, 15 TTB, 20 squats, 15 TTB TT=5'44" Notes: new 5RM PR for squats... probably matched an old one but it's new for now. Quick and dirty conditioning session. Off to open house at our school.

Hope the open house is fun! It was a rest day here. I was the only one at the office today, so I had to walk two miles (wearing a 30 lb backpack) to pick up our work van, which was getting some new tires. Just enough to start sweating on a 75 degree muggy/rainy day. I plugged in my ear buds and streamed Panthers talk radio to pass the time. Good way to burn a few calories and get the legs loosened up from squats.

I mean, I didn't give myself any hemorrhoids but reps 4&5 were tough. I had to focus on taking a breath, squat, push through the ceiling. I like a good walk...reminds me of my childhood when I would walk for miles and hours through the river swamp just enjoying the views.

LOL about the hemorrhoids. I'm glad you didn't end up with those. Take it from me... It's funny, the walk reminded me so much of my childhood too. I kept thinking how I used to walk everywhere I went (and ride a bike) and that was just life. Nowadays if I walked that far I'd be exhausted and my feet would hurt.
