Yet another rest day here. Much needed. I was pretty exhausted from the first 3 days of the week. It looks like next week should be a long one as well, but I do plan on starting a deload week. My knee is STILL not 100 percent. Not sure what I've really done to it, but it is pretty annoying. It still hurts to squat, etc. I may just try to start light on it and see if it goes away. Hope you had a good day.

Hope you had a good day. Sorry about the knee. I completely understand as my right gluteus medius, knee and foot seem to always have some kind of pain these days. Ever since I got into that hornets nest two summers ago and took off sprinting and pulled something in my right buttock/hamstring I have been having problems. I attribute some of it to age but...any ways. Hope it gets better soon.

No CF today. I had to pick up the van (woot woot), load some furniture for some folks that I sold for my parents and coach two soccer practices. Nonetheless, I did train for one hour doing moderate exercise with my U8 team and then one hour of moderate to vigorous exercise with my U10 as we had one kid out sick. I was dripping with sweat when it was over. Lots of quick movement and sprinting. They are getting technically more proficient on the ball and their field vision is getting better too.

Sorry to hear about the leg pain, but your story sounds like it could've been told by Cousin Eddie in Christmas Vacation. Very nice! Also, I've been told that my knee pain may be a result of overuse (go figure) and that it may be an injury to the patella tendon. Staying off of it sounds like it has been a good call. For the next cycle, a shift from quantity to quality may be the best call. Glad to hear they got the van back together!
