Comments: OH Press: Completely shocked getting that last set at 135! My current/old 5 rep max from back when I used to do OH Press all the time is 145 lbs. Since stopping that lift I don't think I ever got more than 3 reps at that weight, so that may as well have been a PR for me. Looking forward to doing this lift again. Weighted Pull-up: These certainly weren't strict, but that's OK. The main goal was to get my chin over the bar, which is imaginary on my set-up. That last rep at 40 lbs was close, but I'll count it. Happy with a PR on these. Assistance: This was pretty tough. I did the Arnold Press's standing up and then continued on to dumbbell curls. Those were two arms at a time. All of these sets were broken after the first round. Usually 8+4. Haven't done Supermans in a while and there is a good reason for that. Mainly that if any one were to walk in on you, they may think you were humping the floor... Conditioning: Ran out of time and didn't do my metcon. Had a rare PITA 6:00PM conference call to dial into. Still having a fair amount of knee pain too, so I guess that isn't a bad thing. I'll try to get one in tomorrow to make up for it.

That's awesome on the OHP. The OHP is a "voodoo" lift to me. One day you are a beast and the next you struggle with something 10# lighter than the time before. Go to YouTube and search for "Crystal Palace wrap." If you find the correct video it will be a physical therapist from the Crystal Palace soccer team in England and I used that technique when I was having my knee pain. Simple and easy and cheap. I didn't get to train today as I had to take all three kids to get the flu shot. We ended up waiting an hour but none of them shed a single tear.
